Sample GSM722753 Query DataSets for GSM722753
Status Public on Nov 15, 2012
Title Diabetic female adipose 7
Sample type RNA

Source name Subcutaneous adipose
Organism Homo sapiens
Characteristics gender: Female
age: 48
tissue: Subcutaneous adipose
disease state: diabetic
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Biopsy samples were stored in RNAlater (Ambion) in minus 80 degree C before RNA was extracted. Total cellular RNA was extracted using mirVana isolation kit (Ambion). The quantity and the quality of RNA samples were determined using Nanodrop-1000 (Thermo Fischer Scientific, Wilmington, USA) and Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer (Agilent Technologies, Santa Clara, CA), in that order.
Label biotin
Label protocol Biotinylated cRNAs were prepared using Illumina TotalPrep kit (Ambion).

Hybridization protocol Standard Illumina hybridization protocol was followed.
Scan protocol Standard Illumina scanning protocol was followed.
Description Diabetic_Biological replicate _1_technical_replicate_2
Data processing Non-normalized data was obtained by subtracting background from raw intensities in GenomeStudio data analysis software (Illumina). The data were normalized using average normalization. The non-diabetic group was selected as the reference, Illumina custom method was used as the error model, and Benjamini and Hochberg False Discovery Rate was used as the method for multiple testing correction.
